What's the difference, if any, from the 1972 and earlier and the 1973 and later strut rods. I need one for my kid's '74 Duster. Want to make sure I get the right one if seller is unsure.

the 73 & up use coarse threads(bushing end).
The length is just a little different, it has been said that the 66 & earlier cars are different too.
Breakdown is something like 62-66-- 67-72-- 73-76.
