Can the PST strut rods be installed without removing the torsion bars....?
I understand if the answer is yes then I would have to cut my factory strut rods......
thanks
Nope. Have to pull the clips from the transmission cross member T bar sockets, loosen strut bar nut at the LCR side then the K frame side. Then loosen the LCA pivot nut and slide the LCA and T bar back to get the strut bar out... don’t cut the strut bars. Factory ones are hard to find and worth some dough to the right person..
The reply by Scody21 is correct. You will need to pull the torsion bars and lower control arms to replace them. The other option would be cutting your original ones. I would only recommend this if they are bent or damaged.
Yes you should be able to install the adjustable strut rods without removing the torsion bars or the lower controls arm if you decided to customer your original strut rods.
