Is there a difference between 6 and 8 cyl? If so, is the difference in
length, dia., years, etc?

I was told there was . I don't really know the difference. I'm thinking the /6 may be a little lighter. My K- frame is out of a v8 car, to be safe I will replace it with same.

strut rods are the same slant to v-8, they changed to coarse thread in 73- up versions ,Lawrence

Just found that out . Mine are fine thread on the bushing end.
