I had one rusted stuck torsion bar in a v-8 k frame I bought a couple of years ago. Sprayed WD-40, welded on a piece of angle iron and used a BFH. It finally came out but it took quite a few whacks. LOL.

Need I mention, that torsion bar is now Garbage since you have heated it, I't will be Brittle and I suggest you NOT Reuse it.

No snow...lol. It's a white tarp

No need to mention, it was one torsion bar that came with the k frame. It needed to be remove for new ones. I'm rebuilding the whole front suspension to replace the slant six front suspension that's in the Duster now.

They make tools to take those out in one piece without destroying them. The guys on here will be more than glad to give very good advice in cases like these. The T bars are no longer any good.
