Stupid question: will a 65 formula S intake fit a non formula S 273?

I came across one and I'm curious if would fit. My 273 2BBL carb is messed up... figured I'd search out for a 4 BBL manifold and carb. The D4B is next to impossible to track down, is there much difference between the formula S manifold and the D4B?

Lot of difference between the manifolds but either will work fine.The early 273 had a different bolt angle on the intake but any 273 HiPo manifold should fit. I think I have a 273 4BBL intake at my shop.

yeah mine is the early one, it's a 1965. And the manifold I found is a 65 too, just wanted to make sure it was direct bolt on...

How much of a hp difference between the edelbrock D4b and the Formula S?

I'm not sure about HP difference but maybe a little torque advantage for the D4B but I dont think there will be enough"seat of the pants" difference that you would feel it.
