Stupid Steering Coupler Question

64 Valiant manual steering. My coupler is the original NON roll pin type with the bolt and clamp that attaches it to the input shaft of the steering box. My question is, will the 3" long roll pin type coupler interchange? Thank you drive through.
 
no because the shaft dia is a different size on the power steering vs the manual steering and one type is used on power and the other type is used on manual
 
The length is a bit different, but, they should fit most stock applications.
 
This may be unwarranted, but I'd prefer a clamp-type. I just redid a bunch of steering linkage with multiple u-joints, and found a ton of my slop was due to loose clamps. The difference in play between snug and 15 ft-lbs was very significant.
Has me considering putting a similar clamp-type u-joint in my dart's steering column, in fact.
