Summit headers - problems?

A friend of mine gave me the advice to buy this...

Now I have this in my garage - and my mech told me it could give a problem because I've a power-steering. Summit lists it as for w/o powersteering.

Anyone of you that buildt this in a 1974 A-Body with powersteering?

What problems happened?

How did you solve it?

Hi Olli,

i have these in my 68 Valiant, manual steering, fit without any problem and modification. I had these in my 75 Duster, some dents (made with a hammer) were necessary to fit in the steering coupler area if i remember correctly - some years ago.

I had to pull the engine really high to put the drivers side into the duster back then...if you have the engine out then i suggest to put the header in before the engine - less trouble.

be careful, they hang really low. And the paint will fade quickly...just don´t expect the same quality as a tti....have fun!
