These Summit brand headers (SUM-G9040) fit surprising well. I was expecting to have to bash them with a hammer. I think I paid $120 for these a few years ago.

I wish they would fit like that in pre '67 cars.It's a 67 and up A body "whatever" it is.
Flanges look thicker than my dynomax headers flange!Been tellin guys here for YEARS they fit well. Only one drawback is, if your car is lower than stock in the front, you need to take it easy over speed breakers. Other than that, they fit good.

Hey so on the driver's side , does the steering cross member go thru the headers or do the headers go behind them ???
Yup! They do that. There the typical 3 tube under the drivers steering linkage header that has been produced for ever.I had mine off to replace the idler and pitman. I believe it goes through the header.
