there is some type of vacuum plunger attached to the end of the intake manifold. 2 bolts hold it on.
it's right below where the throttle linkage bracket bolts down
does this need to be active. can i just put a plate over the holes and call it good?


my current application doesnt have any need for this. so bypassing would be great.

That is the EGR valve. If your not subject to emissions testing, then yes, just use a block off plate.
