Not to be confused with the early 800 and 1000 CMF competition units, this is a Carter Thermoquad Superquad. These were made from the late 70s through the 80s as Carter's HP aftermarket series. They were all 800 CFM units. All had nice electric chokes, high flow metering rods and jets and high flow needles and seats. This is a very complete carburetor, but it needs cleaning up and a kit. All linkages and butterflies move freely. These are hard to come by. It is also not the only one available. This particular one is #9800S. It is the GM version. The only difference is the throttle linkage. It will need the Edelbrock throttle adapter to work on a Chrysler. I have more. I will take 175 OBO shipped to the lower 48. Thanks.
