This is an 8 3/4" cone type Sure Grip unit with Richmond 4.30 gears. It came in a 489 case that I bought, but I changed it out for a more streetable gear and an Eaton Truetrac carrier. I was told that the previous owner used this as his "track gear" and that it was in good working condition.
There is some damage to the carrier from a previous pinion gear but it appears to be superficial and there is NO DAMAGE to the pinion gear that comes with it. It also comes with the carrier and pinion bearings and an unused crush sleeve.
