Suregrip oil

Does anyone know what type of oil is used for a "cone type"suregrip?

Do I need to use additive as well?

First with any of the sure grips, cone or plate you should be using the slippery additive. I think I use 80W-90 grade but I'm sure that some of the other guys will have other suggestions. What kind of temperatures are in your area over the year and do you run it during the winter.
