just took out slant 6 is there anything off the motor and tran that i should keep or will work on the 340 pullys coolant lines from trans

Year make and model would help us out but...Starter, maybe the alternator, The rest I think you can set a side. I am sure others will be along to chime in.

I just did this swap. The trans cooler lines won't work. I ordered mine pre-bent and ready to install from rightstuff detailing. They were stainless for $40. The starter and just about everything else will work off the front of the motor, I believe the water pumps are different, not sure thought. Fuel pumps are the same, as well as the alternator. You will have to get a new radiator hose for the top, but the bottom hose off the /6 should work.

Lots of bolts and nuts are interchangeable, strip them off the /6 and keep them in a bucket for further use some day.
Water pumps are not interchangeable /6 to V8 BTW.

fuel pumps are different. hoses are different. the pulleys are different and the water pump is not even close

the only thing off the slant you can use is the starter and alternator. i just did this in my duster.
if you use a 904 , you can use your driveshaft. the trans mount is the same.
i used all my existing wiring
86 le baron radiator and shroud
headers
you need a compatable V8 distributor to use with your ignition
im using my /6 throttle cable

What did you guys do for motor mounts? I know the mount itself is standard but where do you come up with the piece that bolts to the block? Dennis
