I have a '71 Dart GT (Swinger). I would like to remove and replace the rear bumper with the bumper used on a '70 Dart.
I can get a fiberglass bumper (from AAR) and the appropriate '70 lenses (from Laysons), but will have to find (swap meets) the tail lamp "housings/buckets".
Assuming I can collect the previously mentioned necessary parts, is it just a simple pull off the old '71 stuff and replace with the new '70 stuff? Can I assume the '71 bumper brackets will work for the '70 bumper? Has anyone done this before?
Please enlighten me!

Thanks,

Dan

Yep there the same bumpers, only thing that is different is the taillights.

Also look for parts off a '71 & '72 Scamp, when Dodge quit using that style in '70, Plymouth starting using them on the Scamp in '71 and '72. So this gives you three years to look for and don't let an uninformed seller try to get more for them saying they are one year only.
