Hello. I want to replace the bushings on my factory Sway Bar. They are located in the funky welded holders (see pictures). It appears that these have taken a couple of hits as they are a bit bent up. Has anyone replaces these? If so, how? I am inclined to grind out the weld, straighten the bent parts, replace the bushing (if I can get them), and re-weld the holder. Thoughts?

Can anyone tell me where I can get new bushings?

Thanks,

I did replace mine on my '67, but they're a little bit different style. I still had to cut open the metal holder then re-weld it again. I made sure to go slow and use the thinnest blade I could on my die grinder, so as not to take away too much metal. It turned out pretty good.....just a pain in the A$$. It looked only a little worse than the factory weld job. What the hell.

Opening the box will be the simplest way to install the new bushing anyway.
PST might have replacements. Good luck

Thanks for the replies. I just can't find new bushings. I can find the triangular shaped ones for the '67 and up, but not the square ones.

Tony,
I went to the site you recommend. Looks great, I will be contacting them to see if they can make the part for me,
Thanks,
