Does anyone know if the front sway bar bushings are replaceable on a 1968 dart gts ? The ones that bolt to cross member

If OEM you'll have a somewhat triangle shaped metal casing around rubber bushings. Replacement bushings are available. Easiest method to R&R... Grind away small weld(s) to open the bracket. Weld back together capturing the new bushing.

I am doing my 68 GT and was wondering this same exact thing. The bushings are easy to get but replacing them doesn't look so easy without grinding and rewelding. Have you finished this job?

Grinding & welding is the easiest way to go. Forget trying to lube them up and push them in. Some people do. Not to say it can't be done. But it's not easy! You can see bottom of bracket has been cut.

I imagiim gettget them over the linkage end is fairly easy but stuffing them into the "cage" wouldn't be so i ordered some stock type bushings and I will cut the cage and reweld.
Thanks
