Completed my front end rebuild and scarebird front disc conversion today. While at it lowered the front and back a few inches. Love the new stance....

Looks good. Feedback please on how it rides and handles.

Compared to the 50 year old bushings and worn out shocks it handles and rides great! Not so low to cause problems, not scraping anything. Scarebird brakes feel great, stops quickly and straight. Very happy with how everything turned out.
 
Neat! I've been thinking of dropping my '64 Valiant, but I was worried about the clearance using 6"x15" steelies. Do you mind sharing what size tires you used?

Disc brakes are on my radar.
 
Perfect, thanks! Good to know that Scarebirds work with some 14" wheels.

Scarebird instructions say you might have to grind the calipers to get them to fit stock wheels, but I didn't have to do ANY grinding on the calipers to get the 14" Cragers to fit.
