Swinging for Divorce…

I redheaded a power steering pulley to the floor on back wall. I looped a 1/4" cable with hooks on each end and enough cable to go outside shop. If I have something that's not running and I want to get it inside on the lift I run cable underneath it and hook to back of it and hook Ranger to cable on front and ease it right on in by myself, Je

That’s a smart idea, I won’t be able to do it like that because I won’t have a wall behind the 2 post. I’ll have to figure out another way to do it.

Get a winch!

My driveway is in the 10 deg range. I added a tow bar to my non running dart and my jeep to pull it out and back in.

I toyed with the idea of a winch to pull things back into the garage.

I just used what I had and when not in use cable is coiled up out of the way. When you don't have help you learn to work smarter rather than harder,

i got a little 3000lb winch i use to pull cars up the slope into my garage. i drilled a 7/8" hole in the garage floor near the back at an angle so when i drop the 3/4" steel bar in it slopes towards the back of the garage. then i welded a u bolt to the winch base plate to hook over the bar. when i'm not using it i push a simple plastic sink tap blank in the hole to stop it getting blocked up with crap.
neil.
