Tail Light Bezel restor

Im looking to restore my tail lights and im planing to fix up the bezel. Is it made out of aluminum?

do you chrome them or powder coat them? What type of black came stoke (glossy)?

what do you guys think about sending the housing (back plastic) to get "chromed"? Do you know any good shops that "chrome" plastic?

It might be cheaper to find a good set. I have sold 2 or 3 sets with nice chrome and no pits in the past. I took some of that pot metal like stuff to get rechromed and almost passed out with the price they wanted. The ones I sold had flat black paint, but could have been faded.
