The brake lights on my 65dart have the inner lenses with the pot metal D shaped bezel in the center. the studs are snapped off and my tail lights look crappy without them. I have the pieces but wonder what's the best way to repair them? Keep in mind it a race only car and its way too ugly for car shows so I'm not looking for a concourse restoration on them. Got any ideas?

you are referring to the d shaped chrome piece, no studs left on it right? I would use either auto plastic emblem glue or maybe superglue.. clean all parts good, let the glue tack up some, then attach the chrome and carefully tape it down with some masking tape to hold it till it dries. ( yes keep the take away from the glue!!) HA
i'm like you except I am missing the d shaped trim all together!!!

Forget the glue, use Plastifix Only found online or Q bond. Some specialty body shops carry Bond. Rock solid repair
