Tailhousing Help!!!

Ok I know its on here somewhere probably multiple times, but I have a guy calling me back anytime about purchasing a 833 and I need to make sure its an A body tranny without driving the 2 hours to be disappointed. So if I can get him to measure it, how long is the A body tailhousing??? Again thanx a million for any help and sorry for takin up thread space!!rayer:

The EASY way to tell at a glance

ONLY A body 4 speeds had the shifter mount to the REAR of the trans mount with only that mount.

Pre 70 B body 4 speeds had the shifter mount ONLY to the FRONT of the trans mount

70/ later B and E body (both the same) had TWO shifter mounts

In the photo below, 69/ earlier B body boxes had only the front mount
