just wanted to verify the correct location to install the oiling hole in the tailshaft bushing in the housing? 12 oclock or at 4 oclock in the v-channel? For the a A-833. FSM states align oil hole with oil slot in housing no diagram. Quick internet search shows people installing both ways But most were 727 torqueflite installations? Also there are 2 notches in the new bushing (the existing bushing had no notches) should they face inside or towards the rear seal? Same issue a Search shows people installing both ways. Thank you!
 
Wouldn't the removal of the old one indicate how the new one goes in? Do you have the installation tool to drive the new bushing in?
 
Just back from Brewers:

It aligns with the V Channel. Only way to get any lube to the Yoke.
