I wondered that too! If it is, then they All are!
They all seem to have the same natural line around them, at least on one side.
Can anyone show this same thing on another set...

Probably from forming just caught my eye.

Heres pics of some pushrods I have. I bet they're tooling marks, BUT the one you have appears cracked like mentioned.

The balls & cups would be a press fit into the tube, prior to welding. So some means of supporting the balls & cups would be needed for this process & that is probably what has caused the marks.
