temp unit

Hello all
I need to replace the tempeture sending unit for my 74 318
I've looked locally no one carries it here.
I had two parts numbers (standard Motor parts TS17 or BWD WT127)
although on the TS17, the seller said it was not compatible...
Can anyone give me a correct parts number and where to buy..

That sending unit fits V8s for about 30 years. Hard to believe no "actual" parts store stocks it

Rock Auto shows it for 10 bucks

What size is it at the threads?
My 318 had a 5/8 NPT, and the Wife's 72 had 1/2 NPT (measured at the threads)

I replaced them with mechanical gauges.
