I have come up with the template for attaching a Sanden a/c compressor to my 318. I am using the existing brackets that came off an '88 Gran Fury cop car 318 and mounting the compressor in the same place the original was. Just that the Sanden is a good bit smaller. Using this setup, there is no need for an idler pulley.
If you have the same brackets and want the template let me know. I can copy it and mail you a full size pattern.
I should have my actual piece made this week, will post up a pic if anyone is interested.
