One of the benefits of living in a warmer climate, the local tracks first Test and Tune is today. Our group is heading out today to see if all the equipment still works after a 3 month hibernation, frist race is still a month away. I bet we even make it back to town early enough to see part of the Dayton 500.
Iam just blabbing on about this to draw attention away from our states (NM)latest anti drunk driving efforts .. The " Talking Urinal Cake" program has gotten underway with 500 of these things around the state in some bars and dance hall urinals. A sultry female voice will warn of the dangers of drinking and driving when activated. " Hey big fellow, had enough to drink?" Iam sure AP has gotten ahold of this . What a hoot, and its only costing us $23 each for a urinal cake!

My concern also. They claim female cakes are available but right now wont use them. I think people have already "stole" a couple from the local establishments :pirat:

I dont think I would take something some one has peed on . Although it would be funny to have at a party LOL.

Anyway, I should report on test & tune. Great day with density altitude reading fairly low at 5100 ft. My first sub 12.0 sec pass, an 11.98 on the second run. Can tell I need to get back onto the practice tree though, felt like it was just a guess with a couple of reds and a decent .537.

You are just to lucky to go racing this early.
I'm hoping to go on my birthday. April 7th.
I just hope the weather permits. The temp will
be alittle cool up here but I'm hoping it will
be a little warmer in central Wi.

Good time at that altitude!

Yes, It was good to get back in the seat. I need to correct my BHJ balancer (5 years), it seems to have slipped 10 degrees. Need to come up with a plan of action for it, first for real race is in 4 weeks. Good luck to you guys when you get started!

OK, the boys at BHJ rebuilt my damper. Quick turnaround and $75 later.. Will install tomorrow night.
