I am converting my 68 from auto to 4 speed. What does this have to do w/ the early a body you ask? the 4 speed is the early b&t set up for the early a body. Cast iron case. I have collected the front of a drive shaft and need a new pinion bearing retainer (front tube broke). So here is the deal I would rather a later alumimum case but I want to keep the grear set which is the wide ratio 309 first. So anyone on the early a body board looking for the old case and willing to discuss this with me?

Thanks for your time.

FYI, I once had a 66 Dart Conv. w/ a slant six auto. Lost it to a flock of deer on Veterns' Day 1993, here on Route 11 in CT. RIP.
