My temperature guage has been flaky lately on the 69 fish car. It would work one day and not the next. Gas guage was ok so I knew the 5v regulator was still working. I had the whole dash out and on the bench where it worked fine... put it back in, it worked for a while then crapped out. After pulling it out again and checking voltages while still installed I come to find out the nut holding the guage was not tight enough. I had voltage at the pc board but nothing at the end of the guage screw. I should have known better. In any case, it's working just fine now.
