The 70 Duster......

-
A lot (and I do mean A LOT) has happened around here since the last update. :evil4: The final downsizing from Fort Worth is now behind us! When we moved from Fort Worth, back to our hometown last year, we could not decide on where to build or buy a home. We leased a home in the area we thought would be close to where we wanted to build or buy. Well we decided to downsize even more than we thought! We bought a house built in 1964 that had been remodeled. So we have spent the last month sorting out a few things and upgrading a few other things. Since that is mostly complete we made a vehicle change and traded the VW Passat TDI (highway car) in on a Ram 1500! NOW are an all MOPAR garage again!! More on that later.

The Barracuda is progressing nicely.......Still needs to be sanded and buffed! :-D This is all I can show...:sad4:

Yep! The original plan was to make a driver. That lasted until I decided I needed to replace the dash. Since we were going to paint the engine compartment and remove the dash. It just snowballed. It was not my original plan but it seems to have worked out.

Thanks! It is amazing how close but yet how different the two colors are. The new Sublime has metallic in it. In the garage they look pretty close. Out in the sun, not so much. The new Challenger makes the Duster look yellow in some lights.

Well it has been a really long time since I have posted on here. A year ago today my mom, very unexpectedly, passed away. So a LOT has changed around here. I actually made the decision to sell off all the old cars and I followed through with that to the point that I no longer own any projects or even finished cars. I currently own just three vehicles (our two daily driver pickups and the 2015 Challenger), and that is it. It is the first time since probably the late 80's-early 90's (high school) that I have only owned 3 cars. Not sure what the future holds but it was time to move on.......no regrets.
