The elderbrock performer intake????

Would the elderbrock performer intake be higher our lower.because i heard the the hood wont close because they sit up high.i have a regular style hood..please need info..

I have a Edlebrock Performer intake on my 340 with stock hood.1970 Duster. No issues. Hope this helps. Craig.

I have a Victor 340, big Holley and factory air cleaner under the hood of my 68 Barracuda.

Performer or Performer RPM should both fit fine.

Just don't slam the hood, checking clearance is always a good idea.

ok i have a 68 barracuda too but its only going to hav the rglar hood for a while anyways, i might get a 6 pack hood on it during the summer our when ever i get out of school for summer vacation

the plain performer doesn't sit that high. the rpm sits a little higher but i have one on my dart with a factory air cleaner and it clears my hood fine. 71 dart.
