"The pull" ?suction?LOL of a turbo project gets stronger

Use the manifolds. Less headache and you can make way more power with them than your motor could ever handle. Headers hardly make a difference in turbo builds.
 
I know you're right, but "if" this ever happens, I thought the headers might help solve possible fab / clearance problems.
