I love that "stuff"!
Until it's time to take it off....lol
as Adam implied, a heat and scraper works well along with gasket remover and wire brush for final cleanup.
I used the stuff once, never again .
 
It’s kinda hard to see. It’s a seal that slides over the sensor and has 2 ears that bolt to the block at the top and bottom. It is right stuffed around the inside and outside. Need to get it out. Thanks. Kim

I love it and use it on absolutely everything! It's a bear to get off but it's so nice to have absolutely nothing leak never. I weigh that out as being worth it...

Here's an idea..........go in the other direction, instead of heat, make it cold like dry ice cold or colder if you have access to liquid nitrogen...... make it become brittle and chip it off
