I decided to do a little work to my beater /6 72 Duster first i changed it over to disc brakes then i decided to redo the interior, carpet, seats ,dye the door panels etc. just to make it a little nicer.
I tore the carpet out today to find this!

So now it looks like i'll be putting in a new floor pan and replacing the wiper pivot bushing before the new carpet goes in.:cussing:

Aww the fun of owning older cars. I think that will be an easy job for you after seeing what you are doing with your 1/4 panel.

One thing about that Kev. It is allot easier than what your doing to the Scamp.
Although it will take a day away from the Scamp or Duster.

I remember stepping right through the backseat floor of my friend's 60 Pontiac back when I was in high school  It's good to catch these things before you do that or worse your seat falls through the floor :toothy7:

My floor pan has rust in the same exact area, actually only good part of the floor pan is the drivers side rear. The passenger side rear you can step though there haha.

mine is not as bad as yours. i pulled the carpet up to replace the rear only. but then i seen the front and have to replace that. good luck

If you don't want buy a floor plan replacement, you could just cut out the rust and fab a piece of sheet metal to fit. I guess it depends on whether you want a driver or a restoration.

That should be easy for you Evil!! :salute:
Something tells me you wont let that get in your way.
I have seen some of your work and I am sure
you can whip that floor boards a$$.

This car is just a driver i already have 2 restoration projects going and don't need a 3rd!
