Maybe this has been asked already, but I've noticed A's come with at least two different wiper motors:
1. The version where the motor housing sticks out toward the radiator at a 20-degree angle or so, and...
2. The version where the motor section is at a 90-degree angle to the rest of the assembly.
Am I correct in guessing that version 1 is not geared and version 2 is? What were the guidelines for which car got which wiper motor?
All of my a-bodies have Version 1. 2 cars have electric washers, the '73 Valiant has a manual washer. My brother's '73 Dart Sport has the version 2 motor and so did a '74 Dart Sport I saw just today.
