This backspacing doesn't sound right!!!

That is pretty much what I was thinking that 7" is what will fit without running into trouble.

you have small bolt or big bolt? like i said big bolt and big car brakes will be a little wider.

i was told (after the fact) that i could go 4 3/4 backspace with no issues. 3.5" is no where enough if you ask me has to just about rub the outter wheel well... i'd go 15x7 with a 4 1/4 backspace minimum. i'm gonna be running a 225/60-15 tire. hopefully they come back from paint soon so i can mount them all up.

I'm running 15X7s with 4.5" of backspacing. With no clearance problems but I did roll the outer lip up just to make sure. Currently have 255/60X15" drag radials on the car. 68 Dart GTS
