That's the truth, I has a Cuda back in the 80's but I sold it. I would still love to have a 71 Challenger conv. but I can build two or three cars for what they are going for.

The '71 Challenger convertible is the only car I'd really like to have in my stable that's not there. '71 being the year I was born and I like the Challenger. The 'vert is just icing on the cake to be a nice a cruiser for the wife and I to ride in. But you're right about the price. Ka-ching!
When Pop bought my '74 about 17 years ago he gave $300 for it minus the engine and tranny. The car as a whole, in restored condition, was going for about nine grand, tops. Now I open a Hemmings or an AutoTrader and see asking prices of $35,000-$50,000! For a 318/904 car? And $55,000-$75,000 for 360/4bbl 'Cudas of the same year? Come on, guys! I know it's the last year for 'em and less than 7000 were made, but that's getting ridiculous.
