That is the stuff to buy if your cleaning up a lot of parts. I used it on my drums and every thing I could fit in the bucket. It does work great. Ronnie

But it is reusable. And you can do it in the house and it is non-toxic. So if it is cold outside you can still have progress in the winter.

Does it leave a protective coating to prevent rusting again ?

All you have to do is wash the parts of when they are rust free and then just dip them back in. It will keep them from flash rusting for a couple weeks. Or you can paint them right away, or do like I did I sprayed them with a light coat of WD-40. Keeps them looking good for a long time that way.
