Thought being retired was going to be easy....

I am swamped with stuff to edit. 4 motocross races, the Friday night street drags from Redding, the recent weekend at Renegade. The first pair of night races is coming up at the motocross track, the 11th and 12th. June 26-27th Renegade is having a points race. The following weekend is Renegades Nitro Nights under the lights.

But before the race track stuff...some asshat tore down a piece of my fence. Got to tie cut all the clips holding it to the t-posts so I can tie a piece of fence to what is there and re stretch it. Wifes truck...doesn't have just 1 electrical gremlin..it has 3. I have 2 cameras that I need to clean the sensors on. My liquid cooled pc....well...the once clear coolant is a weird shade of yellow. Damn thing weighs about 80 pounds. Going to fun loading into my wagon I use for hauling all my camera gear around and taking it outside to blow out the dust and drain the coolant.

Have 12 or so folks asking about images. I need a break....

LOL. Yeah, it’s not really retirement. You just find more stuff to do. And since you don’t “work” people think you have all the time in the world to do whatever.

You are so right about the work part. One person emails me daily...sometime twice a day...looking for images. I tried to be nice when I asked her if she thought I spend every moment of my day in front of this damn computer editing images....for quite a while every time I logged on to Facebook one of the people that was looking for images would message me...after I answered the third message I just dismissed them...I had his email address. Last winter I spent some time finding all of his images...I edited all 275 of them...some of them were blurry so I put them in Photoshop and got creative...I emailed all of them...in 275 emails. One picture per email. Never did hear back from him.

I am hoping that I can stop by and meet you next time I am in Yakima...time permitting...

Yes Sir..it will. Weather is supposed to be nice this weekend, mid to high 60's and cloudy. Good fence mending weather. I have already told everyone that has been emailing me that I will be "offline" for a few days...lol...

Ernie is going in for a sleep study Sunday night. 2 more weeks and she will be in AZ for a long weekend. I am hoping that my back can handle things....household chores are pretty painful. I either have to be completely upright or squatting down. Washing dishes, making the bed..anything that requires a bit of a forward bend is pretty damn painful but I will figure out how to get all the birds fed (we have 5 cages of finches and a pair of African Greys. The dogs are not a problem. Have plenty of paper plates...so I should be good.
