I'll see it up close tomorrow. I also have to burn the clothes they cut off of her. So that's gonna be a tough day

Hang in there, you know she lived thru it and is talking to you when you visit her in the hospital for now! She lived thru it and hopefully just has to wait for some major bones to heal!

Still have prayers every day from me!

Accidents are very scary, my daughter & granddaughter were in a head on. Thank God they are still alive and well along with the other person!!

Yeah, im not an emotional person. Having been in the military for the past decade, I've seen so much, Ive become all but immune to hard, emotional situations. This has shook me to the core. the whole weekend went by in a flash and to be honest, updating this page has been kind of therapeutic in a weird way. Keeps my mind off of it I guess.

I got to talk to the first guy on the scene, a passerby who was behind her when it happened. After hearing his account, and the fact the vehicle was smoking, for him to do what he did, he's a true hero and may very well be the reason she's with us still. I can't thank that man enough. Just goes to show you that even in this messes up selfish world we live in that there are still good people out there.

And thank you to all of you who prayed for us. You're prayers definitely helped not only my sister, but my sanity as well. Thanks so much

Yes, there are still a lot of good people in this world, seems though, that the bad news prevails in the media!

I hope this week finds much improvement with your sister!!!!
 
She was being watched over, the prayers sent, got to the place they needed to be, as long as your sister is talkin to ya, remember what the truck looked like, the prayers helped and that was a higher power pulling her from that truck as it flipped......

Its gonna be a rough recovery, and difficult to imagine but think....

Dare I say it? A true real time miracle?

Man are we lucky for her to still be with us. I cant seem to put that into words but we got some even better news! She could be home by the end of the week depending on her chest CT scan. Still dealing with some lung issues. Shes still slightly bleeding into her right lung. Doc's say its from the massive chest trauma and bruise in her lung. They had been draining about 400 ML every other day or so, it's down to just a slight bit now. Still monitoring though. Thanks for all the support guys and gals.
