Thoughts On This Video

I'm getting ready to put the pistons in my street/strip 360 (KB190's). I'm thinking of trying this.

The young guy is friggin annoying....much like Richard Holdener.
Both may be really smart but holy crap, guys.....lay off the methamphetamine and slow it down.

If a video pops up of his and it plays for any amount of time, my wife yells out, “can you turn that down, that guy is annoying.” His energy is way too much.
Doesn’t matter where in the house you are, it’s annoying.
Follow the direction on the ring manufactures cards. Gaps are different dependent on the application.

I've watched a few of his "Oil Geek' vids, and yes, he's annoying. But, he's informative, and smart. At some point, he loses me on most of his oil vids!

I was surprised on an oil video he gave Walmart Super Tech Synthetic oil a good rating. He also stated that he would change oil every 3500 miles on his vehicles even if it is a 5K or 10K oil.
Obviously not talking about oil for our old cars.

I've watched that several years back, and it seems like sound practice.

Great video!
Thanks for sharing...
I like the theory. They also mention, more than once, that too big is better than too small. So unless you dyno different ring gaps, how would you really know if there's any power to be had? It'll still run and, according to them, maybe seal. Their theory is that at higher rpm, the pressure builds between the 1st and 2nd ring and lifts the top ring away from the land.

A little extra gap is good. Especially on a hot day stuck in traffic and the temp get hotter than normal. Beats this.
