Hey guys,
my 73 duster has the three on the tree shifter and I happen to have a original floor shifter complete with rods and all that I bought years ago but...
now I found out that the transmission tail lacks the mounting studs for it.
is there annything I can do?

and no finding a new transmission here in Belgium is next to impossible so thats not an option.
Thanks Alain

Yeah find another tail shaft. Shouldn't be too difficult to get that shipped.

I have a tail stock from a 340 3spd, tranny mount bolt holes are stripped. But you need a lot more than that for the change. floor hump column.

floor hump ain't a problem, there is a company that makes them (wish I remeber what company that is)
as for a column... I don't see the need for that

You can get the floor hump from almost any sheet metal dealer.

AMD
Rockauto.com

Don't need a column unless you want to get rid of the column shifter nub.

You'll also need carpet.

The floor shift transmissions (230) are completely different than the column shift transmissions (903, 745, or 250) so the tail shaft housings won't swap. You'll have to get an aftermarket shifter kit with proper brackets.....or make your own.
