After many attempts to get the throttle cable working well due to the angle you have to clear the back off the valve cover. I finally have come up with a solution that works a treat.
Went to my local motorcycle shop and went countless cables till I found what I wanted.
Have a look at the photos and tell me what you think
Small amount of modifications to the pedal.
Now I have a nice a smooth radius coming out of the firewall and heaps of clearance to the valve cover.

Do you know what motorcycle the cable was off of originally?

Demonracer
Unfortunately there was a pile of them with no tags on them and just was told to go my hardest.
But the parts guy seems to think it maybe a Honda vf1000 or a Kawasaki cable
I have done a bit of research and come up with these numbers worth a look
If I find out exactly what it is I will let you know.
Honda Number is 17910-mj4-000
Kawasaki Number 54012-1008
Cheers

if it works i guess its cool.. never had any issues with a simple lokar set up though.

His might be different since it's right hand drive. I like it! Nice work!

I used a Lokar cable assembly , using the petal assembly as you did I tack welded the washer on it and drilled out the hole to accept the end of the Lokar cable . On the carb. end you just cut and fit to the correct length . I can add pic's if wanted for you .
