throttle cable length?

does anyone know what throttle cable length I should but for my 72 340 duster? I was going to order a universal one from summit and the options were 24" 36" and 48", I am guessing I need the 24" but wanted to know for sure?

i think you are right. 24 but before you buy look at lokar throttle kits . they are the berrys . cut to fit,

I dont know if 24 might be way too long. The throttle cable on my 273 2 brl has a sheathe of 12 maybe 14 inches long at the most. I haven't straightened it out and measured it.
