I go through one about every two months ant the only clutch I can keep in in is a drag clutch it shreads all others

No watch the car run bandamire as a kid then bought it in 2001 and have spent the rest of the time trying to turn it back into a street car

I knew the owner as a kid and it ran with the 340 modified in itI have a photo of it with the front end about 3 feet off the ground sometime after 1973 when he started racing it

I guess I wasn't clear enough. Need some info. What tranny are you running, what brand/manufactorer of clutch are you using, what engine is it and approx. H.P., what rear gears are ya using and is it a suregrip. Where have you been buying your release bearings and who manufactored them, eg. Timken/SKF/NTN???????????????

360 @ 408CI 452HP 517Ft TQ with lakewood SFI Bellhousing the it gets strange, custom Borg clutch built by Custom racing clutchs here in Colorado then we have a 833 parts in a 733 housing I have had two tranny guys look at it and they don't understand how it could be done the I am not sure what gears in the rear end. The car has always had solid motor and tranny mounts and when I tried putting in normal mounts it shreaded then just like the $600 racing clutches that I bought for it before getting this one made

You might need to put a spacer between the bellhousing and fork pivot.

Does the clutch act line a sprint cr in/out set up. It's either on or off with very little pedal movement?

That engine should not be destroying clutches or TO bearings…. You have something installed wrong, you can't shift right or you ride the clutch all the time.
