Time change

-
I have no need for it to be daylight at 4:30, or even 5:30 for that matter. Additionally, I enjoy getting home from work and maybe getting my yard mowed so I don’t have to blow my weekend time on that chore.
Sure, you can work in the garage by lightbulbs, but I prefer actual daylight. Getting dark seems to naturally trigger me to wrap it up and go inside.
For those reasons, I’ll always side with leaving the time shift. If they want to leave it, leave it on “summer” time, I’ll drive to work in the dark for longer.

It worked well for me in the trade. Basically we started on the job in the Street/Highway/Freeway/Dirtspread working with 7 am start or earlier.
Wintertime with the time going to Standard allowed for sun to have risen and a bit safer despite clowns hauling *** to work lol.

Do you mow your lawn at 10 pm?

In the dog days of summer in my location it’s light enough to mow my lawn that late.

If we left the clocks alone it would still be light at 9 pm.

Or split the difference and set the time in the middle and stop making a time change twice a year.

It’s stupid. But the masses go along with an antiquated tradition like good sheep.

It’s time (no pun intended) to stop the madness.

Not just you either

Ever witness a full eclipse ?
It is crazy, the birds go quiet and the crickets start chirping

Then 20 seconds later, it reversed again

Me too. So in that circumstance you can argue to leave the clocks at DST and leave it there.

I’d be good with that too.

We just need to end the biannual madness known as DST.

They should stop ******* with the time, and should be the 13 month calendar back in place while they are at it. Which is based on the 28 day month just like the moon cycle. Everything else is so precise and calendar is so fucked off…

Why is it when Octo is 8 that’s it’s the 10th month?

Why is there 13 full moons per year?

What is 13 x 28? 364 and then one day for the reset yearly

I set my clocks today we should just keep um normal time
