I have a 1973 duster 340 and when i took into the shop to check timing the marks on the cover are missing.Does anyone know what should be there or have a pic or correct part number so i can chase down the correct one?

thanks

Center mark should be TDC, outer most are usually 10 before and after TDC

maybe i didn,t explain properly,i am missing the numbers on my timing chain cover and would like to see or know what it should look like.

thanks

They should be on a raised part of the cover on the passenger side. If not it sounds like you have a 68 timing cover. What side does the lower hose come out on?

the lower hose is on passenger side and i can see a hole in the timing cover where a bolt may have held a bracket.I would really like to see a pic if anyone has one so i can proceed to hunt down whatever i need.
thanks to everyone for their help so far.
Frank
