What size tire will work on the front of a 70 Dart on the 14x6 rally wheels without interference?

I think the max diameter would be 25 1/2 inches not sure on the width of tread

Watch the rim width spec on the tires. My 215 70s are at the max with 5.5" wide wheel

That’s what is on mine. I was thinking about going a little bigger. I’m having trouble finding the P195s. What brand are you running and where did you find them?

P185/65, 70, or 75 -14s are the optimal width tire size (by tire manufacturer recommendations) for a 14 X 5.5 wide rim. They make for a nicely sized skinny up front and are available with up to a 1290 pound load rating.

205/70-14's on 6" wide on mine. (Fronts)

255-60's will fit on 15x7's on a 70 Swinger

FWIW, I had 235/60/14s on my car and they rubbed on the fender lip just a bit when hitting a bump while turning (like pulling into driveway. Otherwise they were fine.
