Took a ride in a new Corvette Sunday

My good friend Mark bought this a couple of weeks ago. Car had 32 miles
when he backed it out of the garage. 460 h.p and 460 lb ft tq

He couldn't really get on it but it pulled very strong.

He asked if I wanted to drive....I said I'll wait till he wears the
new off of it.

So I pulled up and asked the guy to run,...

I dont think he left first gear but he lifted and let me win. (two lanes into one)

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE mopars, but I also love 63-67 Vettes (I've had two of them) and I think the new Stingrays are beautiful. I will NOT ever sell my 69 Barracuda fastback, but that does not keep me from admiring the new Vettes.

I have a 79 L82 black with a black interior, 4-speed, all stock except a Weiand supercharger.
Fun car.
I also like my Duster 340 4-speed, and my 48 Willy's, and my wife's 80 CJ-5.
As you can see my interest varies.
I just consider my-self a care taker for the next generation.
