Great pics , also do not forget the 70 GSX , or STAGE 1 Buick 455 , apparently these things were wicked , never in one but had two brothers that were , these things ate up LS 6 Chevelles, Hemis, and big block mustangs.

I'd put the Hemi Dart as #1, I'd expect it'd pull away from damn near anthing else at the line. I've never driven a F.O.R.D. Cobra Jet car but I understand they were deadly as well.

3. 69 ZL-1 Corvette - Wicked fast, coolest GM I've driven
4. 70 Superbird - especially in race trim
5. 70 Monteverdi SS450 Hai - Before anyone squawks on this Swiss built car, here's the scoop. It is a mid-engine 426 Hemi with 450 hp DIN. If you're familiar with DIN rating, you know that it usually about 5% higher than SAE net ratings. Lot o'power in a 2700 lb car.

The 64 Thunderbolt was built by House of Steel in Detroit, I think.....Say what you want but the T-Bolt is a piece of automotive history, just like the MW cars and Hemi A-Bodies.......

There is no doubt in my mind that the 68 Hemi Darts and Barracudas should top this list. They are just so mean and intimidating especially in the stock primer job with the black fenders. Tough as balls!!!
