holly street avanger carb eddy heads 60779 hartland rocker are eddy rpm intake 340 is 30 over cam purple 287/523 lift soild lifters is this a good top end looking for some answer before i buy
 
Carb might be lacking? Depends on your rear gear also.And of course PRICE??
 
If the price is right. You could always trade/sell the items you don't need/want for the ones you need/want. Others more in the know will chime in.
 
If you are using a stock piston or a TRW replacement piston, you are going to want Edelbrock 60179 head to clear the raised quench pad on those pistons.

Add KB243's to that list.

The early higher compression 340's had pistons that were proud of the deck. Spec was .018" over the deck, but obviously that depends a bit on the engine with factory tolerances. Makes running a closed chamber head interesting for piston/valve clearance. You can run a thicker head gasket, but obviously that has its issues too.
 
do have 3.55 gear out back with clevite .30 flat top pistons is that holly street avanger carb that bad people keep telling me that bad carb
